Indicative prices, updated

  • Where these figures come from

Prices are pulled once a day from MetalpriceAPI, server-side. The provider publishes one value per day: refreshing more often would show the same figure while consuming more. The date shown is the date of the reading, not of your visit.

  • Why two currencies

Gold is quoted in dollars per troy ounce — 31.103 grams. The euro equivalent is converted at the day’s rate, for guidance only: a transaction settles in the currency agreed in the contract, at that day’s rate.

  • What these prices do not tell you

A quoted price is a world reference for refined, delivered metal. The price of a real lot differs according to its fineness, packaging, place of delivery and refining charges. That is why a sale is made on quotation, not on a displayed figure.

A market price is not your price

We set a firm price for a given lot, with its delivery terms.
